CHARLIZE THERON – GLOWS

WE CAN SAY SHE IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ACTRESSES IN HOLLYWOOD… HER OSCAR WINNING PERFORMANCE IN CULT MOVIES IS AMAZING. CHARLIZE THERON IS NOW CREATING A NEW STORY FOR J’ADORE BY CHALLENGING THE TRADITIONS OF PERFUME.
Charlize Theron was born on August 7, 1975 in Benoni, South Africa. Her mother, Gerda, is German, and her father, Charles Theron, is French. The story of the discovery of Theron, who started taking ballet lessons at the age of 6 and modeling at the age of 16, takes place in a completely different place. At the age of 16, she goes to Europe as a model through an agency. After a while, she moves to the USA and tries her luck in ballet, but the lack of money is such a big obstacle that she even has to steal bread from the bread basket at a restaurant table. At her last stop, Los Angeles, one of those days when she is about to hit rock bottom, she goes to the bank to cash a check her mother has sent for support. But since she is not a US citizen and the check came unregistered from South Africa, the bank does not cash the check. Angered by her penniless debauchery, she creates a scene at the bank but this unpleasantness brings her luck because the person standing right behind her in line is John Crosby, one of the legendary managers of Hollywood. Crosby gives Theron his card and thus her Hollywood story begins with taking lessons at an acting school where she was introduced thanks to Crosby…
After some insignificant roles and productions, her first leap is the 1997 film ‘The Devil’s Advocate’, with Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino. During the three-month shooting of the movie, she worked on ‘schizophrenia’ in the company of a psychiatrist for an hour every day in order to prepare for her role. ‘The Italian Job’, made in 2003, is one of the films that made her gain worldwide fame. During the filming of the movie, she got two traffic tickets for speeding while commuting from the set to her home. She explains this situation in an interview with the following words; “We were driving so fast during filming that I forgot to slow down on the way home”. It is also known that she took lessons from a real safecracker while preparing for her role in this movie. She embraced the Oscar in the ‘Best Actress’ category for her character in the movie ‘Monster’ in 2004. The day she won the award is February 29, 2004. February 29 is also the birthday of Aileen Wuornos, one of America’s most famous female serial killers, who is portrayed in the movie.
She was eligible to become an American citizen in 2007, but did not give up her South African citizenship. She has a son,Jackson and a daughter, August. She adopted one in 2012 and the other in 2015.
She was ranked 7th on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top-Earning Actress list of 2006 for the ‘North Country’ and ‘Æon Flux’ films for earning USD 10,000,000 per film. She followed Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Renée Zellweger, Reese Witherspoon, and Nicole Kidman.
The Indispensable Face Of J’adore
Charlize Theron and Dior are now celebrating their long-term collaboration with the new version of J’adore; J’adore Parfum d’eau. Dior is a brand that distinguishes itself with its glorious achievements, visionary temperament and desire to push the limits. Today this desire leads to the creation of an olfactory miracle, which escapes the rules of all conventional compositions. A new story is created for J’adore, challenging the traditions of perfume development; with its creative, innovative floral choreography and proclivity for all kinds of transformations, it is definitely an icon. A wonderful signature for a noble and nuanced, highly concentrated eau de parfum. Also, it contains no trace of alcohol. Comprised of just water and flowers, J’adore is a wonderful fragrance that promises its signature intense olfactory pleasure. An innovative feat and alchemy of the impossible, patented by Dior. A revolutionary perfumer’s dream and a groundbreaking game changer in the world of perfumery.
François Demachy, the creator of the fragrance, pursued the idea of renewing the fragrance for a long time and her dream of opening up a space of extraordinary possibilities. Only Dior would dare to dream of a water-based perfume and then realize this innovation. All this was done for the long reigning fragrance J’adore, with all its audacity and distinctive pioneering spirit.
An Icon That Stands Out With Her Simplicity
Photographed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Charlize is more dazzling than ever before. Blond and beautiful as the perfume, her bare skin displays an absolute and natural femininity with an obscene look in her eyes. Her simple and spacious look is complemented by a gold necklace, the iconic accessory designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. It’s like a reference to the first visual showof J’Adore; the beginnings.
